SILENT DISCO HALLOWEEN PARADE

We took part in one of the first Halloween Parades in Essex and what an absolute blast it was!

LED Silent Disco Hire raised money for a phenomenal charity called Kids Inspire. Which provides mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families.

The event was organised by Southend Community Events in conjunction with Southend Council and Southend Tourism Partnership and replaced the annual August Carnival Procession which was cancelled this year due to uncertainty around Covid restrictions. The Fireworks Finale was funded by Southend BID.

Before setting off out of the gas works car park in Southend-On-Sea it was also interesting to walk around everyone else’s floats to see there decorations and listen to there music. Some of them were just spooktacular!.

Seeing the streets line with people all ready to watch us and the other floats in Southend Councils first ever Halloween Parade was nerve wracking but exciting!

The atmosphere was like no other. Hearing the crowds roar to their favourite music and danced like no one was watching 🎶

We had our friends and family with us while we danced along the seafront showing everyone what LED Silent Disco Hire are about.

The Halloween Parade was such an amazing experience for all involved. It was an amazing event that we are so proud to say we took part of.

Our team jokingly said about entering into the Halloween Parade and we was very hesitant to but after all the support we received before and after is incredible.

The funniest part was designing and going to buy all our decorations. As we didn’t want anything too scary but also didn’t want anything that didn’t look scary at all. Also the costumes!! They did not disappoint at all.

We honestly would do it all over again!

So.. Halloween Parade 2022 we are coming for you 🎃 but BIGGER and BETTER!
